Got it from my email. It made my day but it is something that sounded an alarm. It's a story that explains the tragedy of paranoia.

Truly made my day...

At New York's Kennedy airport today, an individual, later discovered to be a public school teacher, was arrested trying to board a flight while in possession of a ruler, a protractor, a setsquare, a slide rule, and a calculator.

At a morning press conference, Attorney General Alberto Gonzales said he believes the man is a member of the notorious Al-Gebra movement. He is being charged by the FBI with carrying weapons of math instruction.

"Al-gebra is a fearsome cult," Gonzales said. They desire average solutions by means and extremes, and sometimes go off on tangents in a search of absolute value. They use secret code names like 'x' and 'y' and refer to themselves as unknowns, but we have determined they belong to a common denominator of the axis of medieval with coordinates in every country. As the Greek philanderer Isosceles used to say, "There are 3 sides to every triangle."

When asked to comment on the arrest, President Bush said, "If God had wanted us to have better weapons of math instruction, He would have given us more fingers and toes."

Same boat here dearie. The thought of it makes me puke. Like I so hate it. No. That's an understatement--I abhor it. I loathe it. I detest it.

I want to make kulam the brains behind all these numbers. Damn.

But the irony of it all-- my boyfriend is an eater of numbers. He's so damn good at it that he doesn't have to think whenever I ask him questions like eight multiplied by three divided by twelve.

Swear.

ouch man ouch.

(*seizures)

I was poor in math. Due to too much frustration and restrictions made by my mom way back my elementary days, I forced myself to love numbers.

I didn't love them. But numbers on my report cards loved me anyway.

Life really aint fair asiatic neil. Injustice in my life started when my parents started to teach me one plus one.

I hate everything and anything about numbers but money. I failed algebra the first time I took it and I threw a party when my statistics professor gave me 3.0 as final grade.
