I love cogon grasses.

Cogonal fields bring me to trance when rose gardens bore me to death. Roses are dull and they smell the same that not even their colors can unfetter them from the pathetic truth of being nothing but boring.

Cogons, on the other hand, are shy and mysterious. They grow silently and they die silently but never unnoticed. A cogon-adoring too, the wind weeps for the death of cogons, its tears showering on the departed soil, breaking its sudden infertility.

Only then that the emancipation of the fresh cogons happen. And a new love affair happens again.

The wind makes love to the cogon as if there is no tomorrow. The wind usually slaps the cogons softly, teasing them until their stiff bodies bend gracefully, as if in sweet surrender.

Whether the arching of their bodies means reaching an orgasm is something that the wind and cogons can only tell and understand.

But not at all times is the wind soft in caressing these grasses. Sometimes, the wind is harsh. Sometimes it hits the cogons strongly that it breaks the bones of the poor grasses, leaving them listless on the ground.

Then, lifeless.

And the wind and I will await for the new breed to spring again. And until then the chanting of the requiem stops.

i was kinda suddened by your comment, judgemental ang dating ng comment mo. pls review, you dont do not know who we are. if you want you cant visit our site at www.adtrek.blogspot.com

you are picking the words literally and trying to interpret in your own standard, giving judgement to other people.

Ako mahilig din sa bundok. Kaya lang, I have learned to tag myself not as a mountain climber but a mountaineer.

my guests and readers are obviously not mountaineers and its not fair to praise yourself while giving an impression that they are different from mountaineers generalizing that if you are not a mountaineer you are not protecting the environment. i dont know you and you dont know us, i only saw your name once in my blog and i dont have the right to judge you as well. nakakagulat lang talaga ang comment mo, out of the topic at wala sa timing, and judgemental ang dating..

hindi ko naman sinasabi na mali ka, i just dont agree sa tunog judgemental ng comment mo, its out of topic. we are on the same side as far as protecting the environment. but we teach them in proper forum and time. my blog is about photography and not mountaineering just to let you know, if they decided to come with me and join me, thats the time i orient them about your concerns, we even go to DENR and other public offcials for briefting.

i have to congratulate you for your true love for taking care of the environment at babakas ako sayo dyan, but pls dont be haste in words. yun lang naman.

Proseso mo yon.

my guests and readers are obviously not mountaineers and its not fair to praise yourself while giving an impression that they are different from mountaineers generalizing that if you are not a mountaineer you are not protecting the environment.

Ngayon, masisisi ba natin sila pag nagkataon?

Minsan, we get to feel peace more only when we recognize and appreciate the force of chaos.
